Got questions?

Do I need to know music theory?

No. Oli deliberately keeps theory to a minimum in this module. The whole point is to learn through your ears and through playing, not through reading scales off a page.

Is this suitable for beginners?

Yes. If you can get a sound out of the trumpet, you can start this course. It's also valuable for more experienced players who want to build a proper improvisation foundation from the ground up.

Is this only for trumpet players?

Not at all. While the course is taught on trumpet, the concepts apply to any instrument. If you want to learn to improvise, the fundamentals here will work for you.

What if I'm already an experienced improviser?
